out of the freezer, although some may find it too intense straight-up.
Better yet, mix either one 50/50 with Clearheart™ Vodka to make tasty martinis.

Grappa

Cedar Ridge Grappa is made from a hearty distilled wine. Best consumed after a meal, as a digestif, our Grappa is made one small batch at a time from our own wines. Each 375ml bottle contains all the character and fruitiness of an entire gallon of wine.

Apple Brandy
Iowa's only pure apple brandy, fermented and distilled on site and aged in a single American Oak barrel. Cedar Ridge Apple Brandy achieves a fine balance between the delicate apple aroma retained during distillation and the powerful complexities gained by oak aging. (40% alc./vol.)

Liqueurs

Lemoncella
Super-sweet and super lemony, it's dessert in a bottle. The pure lemon flavor, gained solely from the fruit juices and essence of the rinds - free of any artificial colors or flavors, has proven itself at the World Spirits Competition where we’ve won the International Silver. One could say we’ve beaten the Italians at their own game. (41.05% alc./vol.)

Lamponcella
“Lampone” is Italian for raspberry. Cedar Ridge Lamponcella is the raspberry companion to our very popular Lemoncella. To create this sweet, intense raspberry liqueur, we start by soaking tanks of fresh raspberries in triple-distilled 192 proof spirits. This “geist” is then distilled again to create an awesome raspberry eau de vie which is then added to tanks of sweet raspberry puree, resulting in a 64-proof liqueur. (64% alc./vol.)

Dark Spirits

Dark Aged Rum - Released in December, 2009.

Per Colleen Graham, a New York Times Company Coctail Guide Editor "This is one of the best aged rums I've tasted to date. It has an unbelievable balance of sweet and spicy, just waht we should expect, but rarely see, in a dark rum. The idea of aging in whiskey (barrels) is a breakthrough and creates a phenomenal taste experience. Once again, Cedar Ridge has developed a winning spirit and an excellent cocktail ingredient!"

Recipes

Lemon Martini
2 oz Cedar Ridge Lemoncella
2 oz ClearHeart™ Vodka
Strip of fresh lemon zest

Shake Lemoncella and ClearHeart with ice, then strain in a chilled martini glass and garnish with a twist of lemon zest

Raspberry Dream
2 oz Cedar Ridge Lamponcella
2 oz ClearHeart™ Vodka
Chocolate Syrup
2-3 fresh raspberries

Drizzle chocolate syrup down the sides of a clear martini glass and create a small pool at the bottom. Drop in fresh raspberries. Shake Lamponcella and ClearHeart with ice, then strain into glass.

Citrus Sip
3 oz Apple Brandy
3 oz Lemoncella

Shake Apple Brandy and Lemoncella and pour over crushed ice in a short glass. Be prepared for a strong citrus flavor.
